Manatee Libraries Video Series
A new video series by Manatee Libraries in Florida introduces children in the U.S. to folk tales, myths, and lore from other countries. Children will meet people (virtually) from around the globe; learn some geography; and get a feel for other countries through stories. The videos are well-produced and engaging for a wide age range. The first visit is to Kenya to meet the Maasai people.

Our district libraries are open virtually. Simply login to Destiny, place a hold on a book or books, wait for an email from the library staff letting you know that your materials are ready and come pick them up during school hours. There is an outside library book return box outside of the main office where materials can be returned at any time. We also have ebooks available for checkout just scroll down the first page to find them.

Nippersink Public Library
Nippersink Public Library is offering access to their ebook collection even if you do not have a valid library card. A mobile number and a name is needed to sign up. Here's the link to their online offerings!

Epic!

Epic has great fiction and nonfiction books, videos and audiobooks that the students will recognize. For our older students, they have I Survived and 39 Clues as audiobooks! It looks like they are now offering parents free accounts, but if you would like me to add your student to my account just send me an email. Check them out!

Please contact us if you have any questions or are in need of any other resources.
