I would like to provide an update regarding recent delays on some of our bus routes. At the beginning of each school year, transportation times can be longer than usual as drivers become familiar with their routes and students are added to or moved between routes.
These challenges are compounded by a current shortage of bus drivers, an issue currently affecting many school districts. At times, the shortage requires us to temporarily combine routes, which can increase the amount of time students spend on the bus.
Please be assured that addressing these delays is a top priority. We are actively working to improve our routes and reduce transportation times as quickly as possible.
If you are interested in becoming a bus driver and joining our outstanding transportation team, please contact our Director of Transportation, Kimberly Karaszewski, at kkaraszewski@rb157.org for more information.

We are excited for the start of Navigate NMS 6th Grade Camp tomorrow, and wanted to remind you of a few details:
Thursday, August 13 & Friday, August 14
8:30-11:30am
Car Riders - Please drop off and pick up at the back of the school
Bus Riders will be dropped off at the front of the school
Snack will be provided
Any students who have not yet registered for camp but would like to attend should call the NMS office (815-678-7129).
We can't wait to see you all tomorrow!
