Peace out from Kindergarten! Have a wonderful summer!

REMINDER! The last day of school is Friday, May 30, 2025. Students will be released at 11:45 AM!

Thank you to all of the amazing volunteers today. We couldn't have done Field Day without you!

The sun came out this afternoon!

We are halfway through Field Day! Everyone is having a great time!

Perfect weather for Field Day!

Reminder: Field Day is Tuesday, May 27th. Students should wear closed-toe shoes they can run in, and bring their water bottle labeled with their name. Field Day is an all-day action packed event. They’ll also want to dress for the weather with layers and wear their Field Day shirt if they purchased one.

Yesterday, we celebrated the graduation of 29 ECE students! Thank you to everyone who came to support our students and staff.

Installation of the stair lift at SGE began last night!

Second grade had some camping fun today!

The third graders are wrapping up their unit on the colors in Spanish with a blooming flower project. It was such a treat to watch their vocabulary grow as we added more colors to what they had already learned in kindergarten. They also learned that using the colors as adjectives is an important skill for expressing meaning in a foreign language.

Please register for the 2025-2026 school year if you have not done so already. Here is the Newsletter for May 16, 2025.

This is always a fun time seeing all of the SGE Senior Graduates! Best of luck in your next chapter of life!

"Los Machetes" is a folk dance from Mexico that was created by farmers who used machetes to harvest sugar cane. The 5th grade students learned this dance in Music (using rhythm sticks for a safer version of the dance).

Mr. Pittman did the ribbon cutting for the opening of the 3rd grade stores, that was part of their economy unit.
