Last night, Mr. Pittman presented a $420 donation to the Helping Hands Food Pantry in Spring Grove. This money was raised by the SGE staff through their “Wear Jeans/Sweatpants to Work” fundraiser, showing their continued support for our local community.
SGE 1st grade students and their parents had a great time yesterday afternoon making gingerbread houses!
Our 2nd grade students enjoyed a cozy treat with hot chocolate and cookies while watching The Polar Express! It was a fun and festive way to celebrate the season and make special memories together.
Mrs. DeRusha’s students needed a “tree” to decorate and asked Mr. Pittman to help out. Needless to say, it quickly became the highlight of their day!
Students in Mrs. DeRusha’s class enjoyed a special trip to Bass Pro Shops yesterday, where they had the exciting opportunity to meet Santa!
We had another great concert last night featuring our 3rd–5th grade students! The students did an outstanding job, and their hard work truly shined. Thank you to our wonderful staff for all of the time, effort, and preparation that made the evening such a success.

The SkyDome Planetarium was at the school today. K-5 students learned how to identify every planet in the solar system and learn about the stars in the Northern Hemisphere! Thank you to the SGE PTO for funding this assembly!
