
REMINDER for Kindergarten Screening & Registration for the 2023-2024 School Year:
Kindergarten Screening is scheduled for Friday, February 17th, 2023. REMINDERS FOR THE SCREENING APPOINTMENTS HAVE BEEN MAILED. Your child’s screening will take approximately 30-40 minutes. It would be helpful if you started your Kindergartener’s enrollment online before the screening appointment. You can find this on our website, www.nippersinkdistrict2.org. Please navigate to the Parents tab and choose Kindergarten Screening/Enrollment. If you experience any registration issues, please contact the appropriate building’s main office for assistance. On the day of the screening, please make sure to bring:
• Completed Parent Questionnaire
• Official Birth Certificate, (the one with the raised seal) A copy will be made for your child’s file.


The students in Mrs. DeRusha's room created an indoor ice skating rink with shaving cream. What a great motor break for them!

REMINDER! Tomorrow, Friday, January 20 is an Early Release Day. Students will be dismissed at 11:45 AM. No ECE!


Congratulations to all of our Spelling Bee finalists! The SGE Spelling Bee winner was 5th grade student Ruby Madsen and our runner-up was 5th grade student Emma Siefken.



Tomorrow (Thursday Jan. 19th) is Picture RETAKE Day!
Just a reminder, retakes are for the new students, absent students or for students that did not like their original photo. The students do need their original picture package in order to receive a new one. If they forgot the package, we can still do a retake, however, we will not be able to print a new package until we receive their old one.

The fourth graders are learning the basics of Computer Aided Design through the use of the Tinkercad application this week. We will be putting these skills to use during their 3D printing unit.

Retake Picture Day is 1/19/23! If you're satisfied with your child's picture, no further action is required.
If you purchased and were unhappy with your Picture Package, please send your Picture Package to school with your student on Retake Day. Your Retake Picture Package will be produced and shipped to the school four weeks after Retake Day. Please note, if your child is photographed on the original and Retake Picture Days, the Retake picture will replace the original picture in certain products, like the yearbook.
Students who were absent for Picture Day should come to school prepared to have their picture taken. If you have not preordered, please use the Retake Order Code 72100JF to place your order at https://inter-state.com/Order.
