NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING THE INTENT OF
THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF SCHOOL DISTRICT NUMBER 2,
MCHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS,
TO SELL NOT TO EXCEED $27,000,000 SCHOOL FIRE PREVENTION AND SAFETY BONDS
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Nippersink School District Number 2, McHenry County, Illinois (the “District”), will hold a public hearing on the 28th day of October, 2026, at 7:00 o’clock P.M. The hearing will be held at the Nippersink School District Office, 4213 US Highway 12, Richmond, Illinois. The purpose of the hearing will be to receive public comments on the proposal to sell bonds of the District in an amount not to exceed $27,000,000 for the purpose of conforming its existing facilities that house students to the building code promulgated by the State Board of Education of the State of Illinois, by altering and reconstructing said facilities and having equipment purchased and installed therein.
